Off The Ground Agency is committed to ensuring our platforms are accessible to all Australians, including people with disabilities. We believe that public data platforms funded by and built for the public must be usable by everyone.

Our Standard

We target conformance with the Web Content Accessibility Guidelines (WCAG) 2.1 at Level AA. This standard is referenced by the Australian Government's Digital Service Standard and the Disability Discrimination Act 1992.

What We Do

• Use semantic HTML and ARIA attributes to support assistive technologies
• Ensure sufficient colour contrast across all text and interactive elements
• Provide keyboard navigation for all interactive features
• Include meaningful alt text for images and descriptive labels for form fields
• Test across screen readers and browser accessibility tools

Scope

This commitment applies to offtheground.agency and all five civic technology platforms: SpendWatch, recallau, MedWatch, RentSmart, and AviCheck.
